Every Monday we aim to feature a local project from Kickstarter that needs YOUR help to get off the ground.
Last week we featured STIFF. As of writing they still haven’t met their goal. Check out the STIFF Kickstarter page here to see how you can support them.
This week however it’s all about girls wrestling in a tub full of Jello!
Yes, you read that correctly. ‘Seize The Jello’ is a new web series that will document the world of underground Jello wrestling, a phenomenon that apparently calls Seattle it’s home.
If you are worried about this being a sexist endeavor, have no fear. This is “An event organized, produced, hosted, and performed by women.”
The original idea for the project was to be as a feature length documentary. The organizers have since decided that a better way to tell the story will be through an on-going web series. A mixture of ‘Rocky’ and ‘Spinal Tap’ they say. A kind of mockumentary style.
